On October 2, 2022, a Special Council of Chiefs was called to elect a new Section Vice-Chief. We are pleased to announce the election of Niko McAlister of Talidandaganu' Lodge as the new Section E3 Vice-Chief. The Lodge Chiefs who were present at the Special Council of Chiefs elected Niko as they determined he was the best fit for the position.
Niko is a Vigil Honor member of Talidandaganu’ Lodge, 293 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is an Eagle Scout and an active member of his Venturing Crew. Niko has been through many relevant training courses to which he accredits most of his skills. These include but are not limited to NLS, ACT, Momentum/Thrive, National Camping School (ODS), NYLT, and Woodbadge Staff. Before he was elected Section Vice-Chief, he had previously served his Lodge in various positions, beginning as a Chapter Chief and eventually becoming the Lodge Chief.
Niko plans to start his term by picking up where our previous Section Vice-Chief Cameron Poland, who resigned for personal reasons, left off and by working on his own plans for Conclave. The Section Officers give Niko a warm welcome into his new position as they know he will thrive. From all of those involved with Section E3, big or small, we send our congratulations to Niko!
